Welcome to KaJin Farm. Our farm was started on a small piece of property handed down three generations of the Nelson family. We started planting Christmas trees in 1998 to teach our son Jeffrey, who was at that time 8 years old, good work ethics. It worked!!! He is now serving in the US Airforce. We are still working the farm. The Louisiana flair to our farm comes from the fact that Jimmy spent many years in the US Navy and one of our duty stations was New Orleans, LA. We raised our two daughters, Jennifer and Jill, mainly in the New Orleans area and Jeffrey lived there until he was three. We love the Louisiana flair for fun and like including it on our farm. The name KaJiN pronounced (Cajun) is a combination of our names. Kay and Jimmy Nelson, hence KaJiN.
Come join the fun at our farm and possibly meet our family, with more grandchildren on the way all the time. Always expect an elf or two (in costume) waiting to help you. See you soon.

Yeah! It's 2011
We welcomed the arrival of another Elf Grandchild in May!
Welcome to the world Jaxon Nelson!
While awaiting Jaxon's arrival we couldn't resist being Swamp People!
"Choot em Lizbitt!"
Yes 2011 will once again bring changes to KaJiN Farm - Grandmar Elf is retiring as head elf and
Emma will be her replacement!
And we will be unveiling KaJiNville!
2011 has been a very challenging year at KaJiN Farm, 115 degree temps and very limited rainfall. We survived and so did some very quality trees as well! As always, we will also have available precut Fraser Firs and this year we will also offer precut White Pines. See ya Soon!
